Very nice. I remember Weston fondly.

You find the coolest old buildings! Speaking of that, I came across this photographer's site and thought of you. Take a look.

The Colorado 12 loop west of Spanish Peaks is one of my favorite drives. I've also thought that the arc of the old coke ovens at Cokedale had a picture lurking in them, but anytime I've been there, I've been without long pants, boots or gaiters and I know there are slithering, rattling critters around there that would love to sink their fangs into my calves.

Leslie, it's not a matter of finding the buildings - it's the willingness to stop and explore. I can't drive three miles without seeing cool things to shoot.

I agree, there are cool things all around! It's nice that you have a traveling companion who's willing to make those stops with you. And you do have to actually leave home to see these wonderful things!
