Shadows are always cool and forks are both sensuous and slightly menacing, but the glass image is very, very interesting. How'd you get that pattern or texture in the shadow? I like it.
Tom, that shadow is a natural effect of the interference patterns in the shadows. All I did was bump the black level a touch and normal sharpening.
There is real magic in the winter sun - low, grazing angles and long shadows.
