A new word for me -- and wonderful photographs! This makes me very, very happy. Thank you!

Jan,

The Boss Rabbit and I listened to a podcast episode of RadioLab (Greatest Radio Program Ever) as we drove today. The theme was "Stochasticity". It's worth a listen just for the story of Laura Buxton's balloon. It asks you to think more critically and challenge your own assumptions. Good stuff.

Your photography makes us see more critically and challenge our assumptions. Great work--I especially like (or cringe at) the bath tub. Interesting colors, like petrified mold. We should collect donations and send you packing on a full-tank cruise or three!

Tom, maybe a "Send the Rabbit Packing" telethon would do the trick. I'd leave Rancho Conejo so fast, it would make your teeter totter. Next stop, Mexican Hat, Utah.

We could do it! I'd like to "Send the Rabbit Packing." And I mean that in the nicest possible way. Boss Rabbit too!

Jan, There could be levels of support, like Public Radio.

For $100, you might get a card entitling you to a discount on Purina Marmoset Chow - for $162,586.18, (a purely random number) you could get a personal thank you call from an aging American boomer couple in Scotland.

I was ready to fire off a check for $162,586.18 when I realized you weren't going to be posting pictures from Utah but from Scotland. Well! I guess I'll donate the money to the Newt Gingrich presidential campaign instead.

Tom, if you're going to hand over your cash to Newt, you better hurry. That ship's going down faster than a prom dress at midnight. Tell you what, I'll split it with him - $81,293.09 and I'll spend a couple of weeks between Moab and Mexican Hat posting pics and smelling the sage.
